Nella, one of the happy customers, expressed her delight after her first visit. She had previously dealt with poorly designed nails but left the salon thrilled with her new look. The results exceeded her expectations, and she stated that she plans to become a regular customer.

Cerys also praised the salon, describing it as the best place to get nails done. She appreciated the fantastic service and the accommodating staff. Cerys was pleased with how quickly she was attended to during her walk-in appointment and noted that the staff helped her choose the perfect nail shape and color. She left the salon extremely satisfied and intends to return.

Similarly, Lisa shared her positive experience, highlighting Ely as her preferred nail technician. She commended the team for their attention to detail and meticulous work. Lisa enjoys the welcoming atmosphere and looks forward to her regular appointments every four weeks.

However, not all reviews were positive. Nya Louison expressed disappointment after a visit that did not meet her previous standards. She described a lackluster pedicure experience, with rough feet afterward and poorly applied acrylic nails. Nya highlighted various flaws in the workmanship, including uneven nail tips and a messy polish application. This experience left her regretting her visit, especially after spending a significant amount.

On a brighter note, Jade Palmer had a lovely experience while receiving a pedicure. She noted the attentive staff who provided helpful advice for her nails during her pregnancy. Jade found the salon to be clean and nicely decorated, which added to her positive impression.

In summary, WOW Nails Romford appears to have a combination of talented staff who deliver excellent service to some customers, while others have experienced less satisfactory results. Potential visitors may want to keep these mixed experiences in mind when deciding where to go for their next manicure or pedicure.

  1. I’m in love with my nails. It’s my first time visiting, and I had very poorly designed nails, so I really wanted something new. I showed the design I wanted, and my nails came out way better than the photo. I’m satisfied and will probably become a regular customer

  2. The best place to get your nails done! Fantastic service, lovely staff & very accommodating. Went for a walk in appointment, was seen to right away. The staff helped to choose the right shape for my nails & suggested great colour choices. Walked out extremely happy with my nails. Will definitely be returning!

  3. The best place in town to do your nails. Ely is my go-to-girl. She pays attention to details and listens to what you need. As soon as does all the staff at Wow Nails. They are very meticulous. The atmosphere is great and you feel at home when you’re there. I look forward to every 4 weeks to get my nails down.

  4. I used to go to this nail shop quite often and they were really really good. I would argue the best in the area but the service has plummeted completely.

I hadn’t been for about six months and I went back for the first time with my mum on Saturday and it was really just not good.

We both had a pedicure, and both felt like our feet still felt quite rough afterwards. That feeling you have after a pedicure was definitely not there, and I tried to ask the man that was doing my feet if he could make sure that the rough skin was scrubbed off, but that just didn’t happen.

I asked for acrylic on my big toe, and I asked for it to be square and sharp, but it was so incredibly lopsided when he put it on.
After having done the polish, it just looked awful and I asked him to cut it and make it straight and he said that he would have to take the whole nail off which wasn’t the case as his colleague came and filed it but it still wasn’t completely straight, I will attach pictures of the before and after filing.

The way the nail polish was placed on my smaller toes was absolutely ridiculous, especially on my pinky toes. It was literally just blobbed in the middle of the toe and you can see nail on either side of the polish.
There was also nail polish all over my cuticles.

When it came to my hands, a different member of staff did them, and he used to be my favourite nail technician, but honestly again the situation was just a mess.

He put the tip on the third finger of my left hand completely lopsided and when I drew his attention to it, he tried to file it to make it look straight instead of just taking it off and putting the tip on properly.
The nail polish was done in such a shoddy way again. It is not clean round the cuticles and the nails look big and bulky. I asked for Sharp Square and they literally just look like big spades

They don’t let delicate and pretty.

I’ll attach photos so everything I’m saying makes sense but honestly, the workmanship is completely shocking and the more I look at them, I keep finding faults with them.
I’m just going to get everything taken off which is a shame, especially as I spent over £100 on treatments.

When I went to the shop, it was completely empty so it’s not like they were super busy and trying to get through as many customers as possible. There was literally no reason for the service to be so shockingly bad.

I want to keep the High Street alive and not only go to Instagram nail techs, but I feel like they are starting to be the only way to go.

  5. Had a lovely pedicure here today the staff were very attentive. I am pregnant and they gave great advice about what nails to do on my hands. Pedicure was lovely and very thorough. The service was good and I would highly recommend to others.

Very clean environment and nicely decorated too!
