Village Nails & Spa in Wolverhampton has received mixed reviews from its customers, showcasing a range of experiences that highlight both positives and negatives.

On one hand, some visitors had a delightful experience. Lisa Quinn mentioned that she had her nails done with a set of acrylics, an overlay, and white tips. She appreciated being seated immediately upon her arrival and praised the professional, friendly service provided by the staff. The end result left her very happy, indicating that when everything goes smoothly, customers can walk away satisfied with quality services.

Similarly, Vicky Czinege shared her positive experiences after visiting a couple of times. She noted that the staff were polite and thorough, paying great attention to detail during her nail treatments. The clean environment and soft music added to the relaxed atmosphere, making her regular visits enjoyable.

However, not all experiences were as favorable. A. Osbourne expressed frustration over a significant miscommunication regarding pricing. After confirming her appointment details via phone and text, she was charged more than expected upon arrival. Additionally, she pointed out that there was a considerable wait time, and the inconsistency in pricing led her to decide against returning.

J. Johal had a similarly negative experience during a pedicure. Complaints included cold water, abrupt communication from staff, and even physical discomfort leading to a bleeding toe. This left her feeling unwelcome and dissatisfied.

Revina Jordan also faced issues with pricing, stating that she was informed a service would cost £30 but was charged £40 instead. While she mentioned that the final result was okay, the experience left her feeling wary about recommending the salon.

In summary, Village Nails & Spa seems to provide quality services for some customers, particularly in terms of professionalism and attention to detail. However, issues regarding pricing transparency, service consistency, and customer care seem to plague others, leaving potential visitors with mixed feelings. Those considering a visit may want to call ahead and clarify any details to ensure a better experience.

  1. Awful experience, I called in to book an appointment. On the phone call we discussed what it was I wanted and Confirmed prices in which was then again confirmed via text messages. On arrival they were over capacity with me not being seen to until 30 minutes past my appointment time I then reconfirmed what I was booked in for and was told they would cost more than the original price I was told over the phone and text after they had began treatment. After I showed the message to say this is what I was told it would cost for an infill and French tip the gentleman then told me prices vary… it seems prices are made up on the spot I will not be returning

  2. All I can say today I had gone for a pedicure firstly the water was cold and I had to ask a couple of times at this point. I think she was annoyed with me then I asked for French pedicure when I started asking a few questions abruptly they started talking in their own language. I will never be going back. She pinched my toes with the clippers a few times to the point. One of my toes is bleeding.

  3. Was told price would be £30, only to be charged £40 at the end. They swapped to a different person half way through. Even though the end job was ok , it’s not a place I would recommend to anyone.

  4. Had my nails done here this evening: set of acrylics, overlay and white tips. Paid more than I usually do in Birmingham, however, I was seated immediately despite arriving 10 minutes early. The ladies took their time, it wasn’t rushed and the end result is fabulous. Really good service- professional, friendly and talented.

  5. Have been a couple of times now and on both occasions the young man did my nails, I found him polite and professional. He made an excellent job of my nails taking great care to get them just right for me and I am very pleased with the result. I am also now a new regular, the shop is also very clean and they have soft music playing which I thought created a relaxing atmosphere. I always make an appointment so that I am not disappointed.
