Lisa Nails in Romford has received a mix of reviews, revealing a divided experience among its customers.
On one hand, there are positive reviews that highlight the friendly atmosphere and excellent service. Rheanna Doltis expressed her satisfaction with both her nails and the staff’s behavior. She noted that Lisa was welcoming and took the time to reassure her while discussing nail techniques with her colleagues. The overall vibe of the salon was described as jolly, with staff members engaging in cheerful conversations—even singing while attending to clients. Rheanna felt comfortable asking for corrections, and the staff promptly addressed her concerns.
Similarly, Natalie Thomas mentioned her consistent satisfaction over six months of visits. She praised Lisa and the staff for their professionalism and friendliness. She particularly appreciated how Lisa interacted with her children, making her daughter feel special during a nail painting session. This level of personal attention seems to resonate well with clients seeking a welcoming environment.
On the other hand, several customers have reported disappointing experiences that paint a stark contrast to the positive remarks. Mariam Sadat recounted a frustrating visit, noting a lack of English-speaking staff, which hindered communication. She described her acrylic nails as the worst she had ever received, citing distractions among staff that led to a painful and unsatisfactory service. Additionally, she criticized the cleanliness of the salon.
Carmel Shepherd shared a similarly negative experience, expressing her dissatisfaction with the quality of her nails and the unprofessional response when she requested corrections. She felt that her issues were dismissed, leading to a feeling of frustration that her concerns were not taken seriously.
Dannii Humphrey also described her experience as rushed and careless. She felt that her nails were not given proper attention, leading to a subpar job that ultimately made her uncomfortable enough to ask for removal. Her dissatisfaction with the service was clear, stating she would not return.
In summary, Lisa Nails in Romford offers a friendly and welcoming environment that many customers appreciate. However, there are significant concerns regarding the quality of service and communication issues that have left some clients feeling disappointed. Prospective customers may want to weigh these mixed reviews before deciding to visit.
I was really happy with my nails. Lisa is so friendly and reassured me what she was talking about with her colleagues which me me feel safe ☺️ all staff are very jolly the man painting my toe nails was singing away. Such a nice atmosphere. If I wasn’t happy or they needed to correct there was no problems as I asked them straight away and they fixed my nails no problem.
The worst set of acrylics i have ever had. I used to go to this place alot in the past, welcoming young ladies and did good job. but since last year i hadnt been there until yesterday. the staff has changed and except for one mature aged lady no-one speak a word of English so no communication. That still wouldn’t have been much of an issue if they knew what they were doing. While doing my nails the lady was constantly distracted by the other staff members; explaining / translating to them what the customers needed., pushed my cuticle with their sharp thumb nail and it hurt me like hell. No hygiene whatsoever The place was dirty everywhere. I went in with the intention to get pedi and waxing too
But came out with only rushed and messedup acrylics. (I dont know where my nails are flying to)
Been coming to Lisa for about 6 months now. She and all the staff are very professional and so very friendly. Lisa was also so lovely with my children when I brought them in last time too and she made my daughter feel like a little princess when she painted her nails. Would recommend to anyone.
Worst set of nails I’ve ever had and when in the salon asking for the lady to correct things I was told I could paint my own nails if I like (use to be a nail tech so prob do a better job) the love hearts on my nails don’t even look like they match ones fat and ones wonky and fine I’ve got eccess acrylic down the sides of my nails & the french isn’t even straight or the same as any on the other hand and the nails even feel like there not tightly on could ping off at any moment worst nail shop
Went there to get an Biab infill was really good . So o thought go again . Went again. She rushed my nails in between someone else that was getting her nails done , gel was not even near the cuticle had paint on top of my skin aswell . Didn’t wanna file my nails because they was short. Was so unhappy I don’t normally moan but wasn’t going to pay for what was half a job I ask her to remove . Moaning saying I didn’t like the colour which wasn’t anything to do with the colour was just poor service . Never again will I be returning !!
