Happy with the service I receive whenever I get my nails done. Super helpful with picking the right colour to match the designs and very efficient. They take time to do your nails unlike some places that tend to rush it.
I also once came with a quick fix which was happily done free of charge, even though I had to wait a little.
I have been trying various nail salons after my usual place increased prices. I came to Creative Nails for the first time 2 weeks ago, and have mixed feelings. Firstly, their prices are very reasonable.
But, the negatives: I had a girl remove my existing gels, and experienced quite a lot of burning when she was using the e-file, which I have never experienced before at the many salons I have visited. There was also quite a lot of old nail dust and debris left around the station and nothing was cleaned between the previous customer leaving and me sitting down (though I appreciate it was a busy saturday afternoon and I did see them cleaning the pedicure stations).
The man who did my new set of gels was great – he was very attentive to how I wanted them shaped, and they came out looking lovely (picture attached). He was better with the e-file and there was no burning when he finished prepping my nails. But my fingers were a bit sore for the next 24 hours from the e-file earlier on. That said, they did start to chip around 9 days in, and I usually get at least 14-16 days from gels before any chipping. I wonder if this is due to my nail being filed too much during removal, as a different salon I visited today commented on my natural nails looking as though they had been weakened by previous manicures.
I wonder if this salon is more suited to acrylics as I saw lots of people getting these and it is clearly popular with a constant stream of walk-ins arriving.
I arrived to the salon, and gave my booking time slot. They were a 5 mins behind schedule but my nails were amazing, done by a young gentlemen! So stunning, in love! Super precise, and neat! Not thick or patchy! Not expensive for what I got either. £46.
Will definitely be returning.

First of all, I saw the woman using a kit that had been used by another customer without cleaning or sanitizing it. Second, she didn’t even clean the pedicure station and sink before inviting me as a new customer. This felt quite disgusting. I mentioned this to the person, but she didn’t seem to understand as she didn’t speak English.
Regarding the price increase policy, I can guarantee that a few weeks ago, I paid a certain amount, and today I paid double for exactly the same service. When I mentioned this while paying, the response was very rude, insisting that this was the price and I had to pay that amount.
As you can imagine, this is not a pleasant place in terms of professionalism and hygiene. I highly recommend avoiding this shop.
My daughter has been getting her nails done on and off for a while, so I decided to pop along with her and see what the fuss was about. I had acrylic nails put on and loved them at first. They looked lovely, but for me I felt they weren’t very practical.
After Christmas we went back for new nails. I had my acrylic nails removed and my own nails painted. Love them !!!! And I can now pick up fiddly things 🤣 x
You can book online, which I recommend as if you hit the shop at the wrong time, there can be a wait, as people with appointments will go ahead of you. Prices have gone up slightly, but it’s a treat, so its worth it 💞 x
